If your order is in stock, it will usually ship same-day. We guarantee that your order will be shipped within 3 days, if it is not you will most likely be contacted as to the reason. For most orders we use USPS First-Class Mail Parcel, we have found that this is not only the cheapest shipping solution available but also one of the fastest. Using this option allows us to offer better shipping prices to our customers and with an average delivery time of 2 and half days, the Postal Service is absolutely comparable to other shipping solutions. We also offer FedEx shipping options.
The United States Postal Service offers tracking on most orders, usually this is viewable on their website: www.usps.com. In some cases it may only be viewable by visiting a Post Office. In those cases if you are seeking information as to the whereabouts of your order, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org in an e-mail containing your order information and we will send a PDF containing the full tracking information of your order.
FedEx is generally more expensive than the Postal Service however it offers great shipping solutions for large boxes, that is generally when we use it. Tracking information for this service is viewable at www.fedex.com.
If you choose specifically USPS or FedEx we will make every attempt to ship your order via that method, however sometimes it may be shipped using a different option. A relatively small number of orders have shipping related problems, however it is not unknown. These are handled on a case-by-case basis. We try to solve these problems as quickly as we can, and attempt to provide maximum satisfaction to our customers. We have noticed that about 1 out of every 200 orders has a shipping related problem.
We want you to be happy with your purchase from 5thpostulate.com. You may exchange or return most merchandise for a full refund, less shipping charges, based on the original form of payment, for up to 30 days after purchase. Certain items are excluded from this policy, those are items that once used cannot be resold. We accept retuns on these items only if they have not been used. Examples are soldering iron tips, flux, heatshrink etc. Another exception is for electronic products. All of our ciruit boards, test leads, probes, meters, test equipment are tested before leaving our warehouse. If you have an item that is no longer working properly returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. We understand that equipment sometimes fails but we also understand that sometimes it is broken. We try our best to make you happy and just ask that you help us by not returning items that were broken during use.
